A Sure Sign

This link is to the video that has been shown around the world. It is a video of a poor, unfortunate man that was the victim of a hit and run, as his fellow man looked on, and carried on. Bystanders look on as pedestrian is hit. I found it a horrific thing to witness.

This brings a warning - pay attention to these things happening in the news. There is a time of sorrows to come, and this action and in-action depicted in this video footage is a clear indication of the beginnings of the time of sorrow, as are all the things I mentioned in the peace post previously. * "Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matt. 24:4-8)

The verse that coursed through me as I watched the above video was Matt. 24:12 "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." Our hearts just become cold, detached, unable to feel as we view one another. We don't feel empathy for one another, we instead find apathy. When you can hit someone and just drive off, when you can watch your fellow man or woman suffering, just lying there, and only 4 people make a 911 call, something is very wrong. At least a call was made somewhere by someone, but no one knelt beside him; no one checked in those moments to see if he was alive and breathing; no one touched him, and spoke gently that help was on the way; no one protected the body from further injury. This is a clear sign of things to come. You can label it bystander whatever, but I'm telling you, this is a symptom of what is on the way.

Update: Read the first comment to this post. It is exactly what this post is about.
My heart goes out to the victim and the Lt. that witnessed it.
